Copse 125 - K. J. Elliott

Descriere

Ernst Jünger's third literary work, Copse 125 ( Das Wäldchen 125 ), was first published in 1924 and offers a deeply personal account of the author's time spent on the Western Front during the final year of World War I. Through a blend of vivid narration and introspective musings, Jünger recounts his month-long experience in the deadlocked battle positions of an isolated little patch of forest. This compelling memoir not only provides a glimpse into the realities of war but also invites the reader to ponder the intricacies of human experience in the face of extreme adversity.
