Suryia

Descriere

The true story of an orangutan who learned to swim, made unexpected animal friends, and shows us that animals can care for others, too. Young readers will love the story of Suryia, an adorable orangutan raised at an endangered animal preserve in South Carolina. Suryia grows from a curious baby to an adventurous youngster who befriends a stray dog, helps care for the preserve’s cubs, rides an elephant, and, to everyone’s amazement, learns to swim. This remarkable tale is told by Bhagavan ”Doc” Antle, founder of the Myrtle Beach Safari rare animal preserve and director of the Rare Species Fund.
