Meeting Ma'at: The African Centered Handbook for Conducting Meetings - David L. Horne

Descriere

Meeting Ma'at is currently the only book of its kind in the field. It provides a logical context, a proper historical background, and detailed instructions relevant to replacing a dependence on Robert's Rules of Order with the Rules of African Consensus. The former is based on a competitive, adversarial model, while African Consensus decision-making is based on cooperation, collaboration and participatory consent in group decision-making. Meeting Ma'at is the seminal African-centered guide for conducting meetings and gatherings. It is conducive for solid group decision-making and for moving the agenda along to its conclusion.
