Intimidated by her shrinking list of new roles, struggling actress Samantha Castle returns to her breezy hometown of Sand Castle Bay. With her two younger sisters heading for the altar, she'd rather be on the North Carolina coast with family than in New York City with agents and actors--and is definitely not letting her teenage crush on Ethan Cole influence her big move. But it's hard to ignore her old feelings for the local war hero. After losing a leg in Afghanistan and his fiancée before their wedding, a jaded Ethan has thrown himself into running a busy medical clinic, leaving himself with no room for love. That is, until Samantha's family catches wind of their reunion and hatches a careful plan to reignite the spark between them. With the help of the Castle sisters' matchmaking and meddling, Samantha and Ethan are helpless to deny their attraction for each other--and are forced to face their deepest fears for the first time.
